What is the Assessment?

­­The Green Fins Project is the first and worlds only accredited standards for Scuba Diving Centres. Dive centres who agree to follow the Code of Conduct have to undergo an annual Assessment of their dive centre. This is free and simply requires allowing a fully trained Green Fins coordinator or assessor to join one of their dive trips to observe staff and customers. This allows the assessor to provide three focus areas for the dive centre to improve on before their next assessment.

This section on the website allows the trained assessors to log in and upload their assessment data. It also allows industry wide problems such as lack of mooring buoys or problems with their garbage to be highlighted allowing Green Fins to work more closely with government departments.
